1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "We," "us," "our," or "Meridian Ed" refers to the business operating financial education programs in Bangkok, Thailand
• "You," "your," or "participant" refers to the individual or entity accessing our services
• "Services" refers to our educational programs, website, and related offerings
• "Program" refers to any structured financial education course we offer
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions and any program-specific terms

2. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in any program or using our website, you acknowledge that:

• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions
• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• All information you provide to us is accurate and complete

3. Service Description

Educational Programs

Meridian Ed provides financial education programs designed to help participants develop practical knowledge and frameworks for managing their finances. Our programs include:

• Budgeting Essentials Program
• Tax Awareness and Planning Workshop
• Wealth Stewardship Program

Service Limitations

Our services are educational in nature. We:

• Do not provide personalized financial advice or recommendations
• Do not recommend specific investment products or financial instruments
• Are not licensed financial advisors, tax professionals, or legal counsel
• Cannot guarantee specific financial outcomes or results

4. Enrollment and Registration

Enrollment Process

To enroll in a program:

1. Contact us via phone or email to express interest
2. Receive program information and enrollment details
3. Complete enrollment form and submit payment
4. Receive confirmation of enrollment

Enrollment Acceptance

We reserve the right to accept or decline enrollment requests at our discretion. Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and our written confirmation.

5. Payment Terms

Program Fees

Current program fees are:

• Budgeting Essentials Program: ฿11,500
• Tax Awareness and Planning Workshop: ฿24,000
• Wealth Stewardship Program: ฿68,500

Payment Methods

We accept payment via bank transfer or credit card. Payment must be received in full before program commencement unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing.

Payment Plans

Payment plans may be available for the Wealth Stewardship Program. Contact us to discuss options.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Participant

If you need to cancel your enrollment:

• Before program start: Full refund minus ฿1,500 administrative fee
• After program start: Prorated refund based on sessions remaining, minus administrative fee
• After 50% completion: No refund available

Cancellation by Meridian Ed

We reserve the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future program session.

Rescheduling

For the Wealth Stewardship Program, we will work with you to reschedule sessions if circumstances change. Other programs may offer limited rescheduling options depending on availability.

7. Participant Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

• Attend scheduled sessions or arrange makeup sessions where available
• Participate respectfully and maintain a constructive learning environment
• Maintain confidentiality regarding other participants' information
• Complete any preparatory work or exercises as requested
• Provide honest feedback to help us improve our programs
• Not record sessions without explicit written permission

8. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All program materials, including templates, worksheets, reference guides, and curriculum content, are the intellectual property of Meridian Ed. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use these materials for your personal financial education purposes only.

Restrictions

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or sell our materials
• Use materials for commercial purposes
• Modify or create derivative works from our materials
• Remove copyright notices or proprietary markings

9. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

• Any financial information you share during programs
• Personal circumstances discussed in sessions
• Your enrollment and participation records

You agree to maintain confidentiality regarding other participants' information shared during group sessions.

10. Disclaimers

Educational Service

Our programs are educational in nature. We provide information, frameworks, and tools, but:

• We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes
• Results depend on your individual circumstances and application of concepts
• We are not responsible for financial decisions you make based on program content

Not Professional Advice

Our programs do not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. For personalized advice specific to your situation, consult with licensed professionals in those fields.

Information Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and current information, tax laws and financial regulations change. Information provided in programs reflects conditions at the time of delivery and may not account for subsequent changes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law:

• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees you paid for the program
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• We are not liable for financial losses resulting from your decisions
• We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meridian Ed, its facilitators, and staff from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

13. Termination

By You

You may terminate your participation subject to the cancellation policy outlined in Section 6.

By Us

We may terminate your participation if you:

• Violate these Terms and Conditions
• Engage in disruptive behavior
• Fail to pay required fees
• Provide false information

In case of termination by us for cause, no refund will be provided.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangkok, Thailand.

15. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises:

1. Contact us to discuss the issue informally
2. If informal resolution fails, we may agree to mediation
3. Legal action may be pursued as a last resort

16. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and any program-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Meridian Ed.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms. We may assign our rights and obligations with notice to you.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes become effective:

• For current participants: at the start of your next program or renewal
• For new participants: immediately upon enrollment
• For website users: immediately upon posting

Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
